Before anyone can rent or get paid, they verify their identity. No anonymous accounts moving money or kit.
📸 Photos required
Every listing needs a real photo of the actual item — no stock images, no surprises at handover.
★ Two-way reviews
After each loan, both people review each other. A track record of good loans is visible on every profile.
🛡 Refundable deposit
A deposit sized to the item's value is authorised at checkout and held — not charged. It's released the moment the owner confirms a clean return, or claimed against if there's damage.
📄 A simple agreement
Each loan is a plain-English contract: what's being lent, for how long, the deposit, and who's responsible for what. Both sides accept it before handover.
💷 Money handled for you
Payments run through Stripe. The owner's share goes straight to them; we never sit on your money beyond our fee.
